Lake Chelan Shores...a Short Story

Lake Chelan Shores Resort officially opened for occupancy in September of 1980.  We are located exactly two miles from downtown Chelan on the North Shore of beautiful Lake Chelan.  There are 134 units in 20 buildings at Lake Chelan Shores situated on 13 acres of land.  We have 93 units wholly owned by individuals.  We refer to these owners as Full Share Owners.

The Lake Chelan Shores Timeshare Association consists of 28 units.  These units are divided into individual weeks, 1/17th shares or 1/12th shares.  Ownership weeks are from Friday to Friday…   

WorldMark owns 13 units at Lake Chelan Shores. These 13 units are known as ‘WorldMark – Lake Chelan’ in WorldMark, which is part of the Wyndham Worldwide Corporation. WorldMark operates the units as timeshare units through their national offices. We do not provide housekeeping, maintenance, or check-in services to our WorldMark Guests. They register at the WorldMark Lake House in Chelan.  WorldMark guests can arrive on any day of the week.

Recreational amenities include 5 swimming pools (the main pool is open year-round with a warm air-filled bubble in the winter), a wading pool, and an outdoor hot tub (open year-round).  We also have 6 lighted tennis courts, 2 pickleball courts, a playground, a basketball court, a well-equipped workout room, an indoor racquetball court, horseshoe pits, a picnic area with picnic benches, a gas fire pit, and gas grills, and a boat ramp.  During the summer peak season, we also have a day-use boat dock, two designated lake swim areas, a sandy beach, and a boat and jet-ski rental kiosk.

Our luxury units are mostly one and two bedrooms, some with lofts and all complete with full amenities. No elevators are on-site.
